CARBYNE Socket Socket 4 Inch 8 Inch Review

I recently bought a car with E-bolts. I didn't have a set of these sockets so I researched and settled on this set. I am very happy with the quality. For my purposes (private use) it's great. I'm sure there are better professional kits out there but this is a great choice for the casual mechanic.

Five star rating right out of the box. Like I said, it's more of an unboxing. I will use them tomorrow but I expect a quality finish. From the case to the quality of the tool box, I am impressed with this product. The complete Torx set has been missing from my tool box for a long time. Comes with a letter from the Carbyne owner asking for feedback if you are in any way disappointed with the product. Nice gesture. Well I have to say save your money. I had to return this set for another because 1 piece broke when opened. But torx bits seem to be made out of a material like "metal pot" as the broken bit looks like I just needed the sockets. After requesting a refund/replacement everything went 100% smooth when I switched to a new set with no issues

Pulled some parts off my tundra, no problem. I had a Husky T55 but then realized I needed a few other sizes to get the job done so I bought this carabiner replacement. You can see the carabiner is straight throughout, it seems more durable to me. Also, the edges of the tips fall further, less rounded, which also worked well for what I was doing. I have to say it looks good and did the job, no marks on the bits I used and no slipping.

case does a great job of organizing outlets. I chose this particular set because of the variety and price. A good kit for the casual auto mechanic and a requirement as Torx fasteners become more common. You can fool an E-torx screw with a regular head or a torx socket. It pays for me to use the right tool as working with a striped screw head in tight spaces makes the job moderately difficult, an absolute nightmare.
