Description of 🔒 Duragate by Cardinal Gates: Unmatched Security and Long-lasting Safety Solution

Built TO last: Our baby gates are designed and constructed with longevity in mind. Our gates are made entirely from a durable, steel Alloy. Our vertical-bar design curbs stress on the gate’s joints typically caused by pushing and pulling. All of our gates have earned the coveted JPMA (juvenile products manufacturers Association) seal, indicating that we have exceeded the international voluntary safety standards. Extra wide baby gate: gate measures 26.5" By 29.5". The child gate has an adjustable from 26 1⁄2” by 41 1⁄2”. Bar Spacing is 2 1⁄4”. The dimensions ensure that the gate is the optimal length for standard to larger openings and the height is well above the industry standard to keep climbers and jumpers out of harm’s way. Easy one hand operation: The gate can be quickly and easily operated with one hand. Our push button technology allows for added convenience without sacrificing safety. Ideal for high-traffic areas such as the top of stairways, and doorways. Hardware mounted: hardware mounted baby gates are the most secure safety gates on the market. Because these gates are installed directly into your wall, they are more secure than pressure mounted gates, as well as freestanding gates. They are able to withstand more weight and more STRESS than pressure mounted gates. Baby gates for stairs are one of the most important safeguards for a secure home environment and hardware mounted gates are the only viable solution for stairways. Great as a pet gate: this gate is designed as a baby gate; however, it is also perfect as a dog gate or as a pet gate.

Very strong, good for doors, gates and ramps

This gate is much stronger than others I've tried. Installation wasn't as easy for me as I expected, but the method proved reliable. Not a big fan of the locking mechanism, but it does have a learning curve. I would recommend the quality of these goals. I'll probably buy another one if I need it.

Best gate for the money, very easy to install and use. We love ours!

I am a dog rescuer and have many dogs of all sizes that I raise. These gates are great for keeping puppies and dogs out of parts of my house that I don't want access to either. They are very easy to install, set up in minutes and very easy to use. We have installed two of these gates in our home and I highly recommend them for dogs or children! We attach a small magnet to the wall (on the base) so that if we decide to leave the gate open, they can do it. I highly recommend Cardinal Pet Gate!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

The best goal! Good for Dogs

We tried at least 3 different pet gates, all reasonably priced and none of them lasted more than a year. The last one had plastic panels which my doberman broke in no time. This gate is all metal and uses two hex head screws (wrench included) to hold the panels together as they slide out to the desired width. The latch is spring loaded and metal and is easy to operate with one hand. It can be set to swing in both directions or just in one direction with the stop. The only potential downside for

Get two and add up for the sweaters!

Exactly what I need for the following reason: my dog can jump over all the children's gates in the store. I refuse to wrap it up. I wanted to segregate my kitchen (where they have a dog door to the yard) from the rest of the house where they intrude on things when I'm not around. I almost installed a solid door but really wanted something that could be removed if/if I sell/move the house and also wanted them to be able to see through. I didn't want gates with plastic parts and was concerned…

  • The list will be long.

Well-designed indoor swing gate

The Cardinal Gate is a well-designed swing gate that mounts directly to the wall. I bought two of these to use as a dog barrier for my growing dogs. I didn't want a tension grid as larger dogs can easily knock it over. These gates work perfectly. They allow you to open the gate with one hand. They are solidly built and make a beautiful presentation. I only have a few recommendations for the company. I didn't use the screws that came with it because the threads are so thin I don't think they…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons

Works like a charm - just what we were looking for.

GREAT PRODUCT - We use this outside to get our four legged K-9 kids onto the porch. I need 2 of these but bought one to see how well it works. We are VERY SATISFIED with it, the spring clasp works great; easy to use yet durable and durable enough to give you peace of mind. It's easy to use, but our "kids" can't push or swing to get out. We were looking for outdoor metal gates so it was important that not only were they strong enough, but we also wanted to make sure they had a powder or rubber…

  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Only available in black

Follow the delivery. Otherwise great goal.

As for the gate itself, I have not found a better product. We use the gate as a dog barrier to keep our bull terriers in the kitchen. They provide enough hardware to mount the gate on a hard surface like wood or something similar. For those looking to install on drywall, you can purchase various screws, latches, or the like. We mounted ours to a wooden door frame and it is STURDY. As for the locking mechanism, which some have commented on, we have no issues with it. There is a swing latch on…
