Not as described - replacement parts

Item was sent in a box marked 'Core Return'. The actual item does not appear to be "restored" as the original paint is still peeling off the front due to a previous leak. All screws and nuts are coated with grease. I don't even want to waste time installing this junk.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Great price and easy repair

Perfect fit. Works perfectly. 1997 Civic Del Sol. (Same setup for 92-99 Civics). No liquid lines had to be disconnected. Simply unbolt the master cylinder, remove the throttle cable bracket and fuel line (intake) to make room. Detach the brake lines from the plastic clips. Some creative wiggling and twisting of the booster and rotating it 180 degrees and then it goes up. Took about 90 minutes or so. Match the old block's crank length to that of the new block and it should go in without…

Great Price: Replacement Parts

Disclaimer: This brake booster will not fit a 1994 Honda Del Sol SI Manual Transmission. It's actually for Del Sol S. Revain says it's compatible, and technically it is, it fits and works well (and costs fifty dollars less than the real thing). But the bezel on this is over an inch smaller than the standard, although I don't notice any difference in braking. I panicked for a moment when my mechanic pointed out that I got the brake booster for the wrong model of car, but I'm giving it five stars
