Yarn Love Caron - Knitting & Crochet

The cream has a yellow tinge, not beige. I wanted to use it with a pale yellow but you need to be under a very bright light to tell them apart.

Pros
  • The Best in Its Niche
Cons
  • Infinitely Slow

Loss of thread, suitable for yarn

This 4lb caliber cream is thin and fragile compared to a lb of the same brand/color that I personally bought from AK a year ago. The weight I just bought is noticeably lighter due to adding a fluffier thread to the yarn I started earlier. The quality has gone down

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Concerns me

Good yarn at a good price!

This is a very good yarn at a reasonable price. It is very easy to work with him. I prefer cotton yarn but this yarn is easier to work with. My only complaint is that the color of the yarn is different than what is shown online. The color is stated as buff, the yarn is actually yellow.

Pros
  • Composition: Yarn 100% Acrylic, 4 worst weight
Cons
  • I will add later

Very Stiff Yarn on Yarn

At first I thought it was expensive but all the craft shops are closed due to quarantine. I ordered cream. It was more yellow than cream. I found the yarn very coarse and stiff. It is easy to work with as the threads do not diverge. I hope that throwing this very hard blanket in the dryer along with the damp towel and fabric softener softens it up. I doubt I will buy this brand again.

Pros
  • Ball Size: 454g / 16oz, 742 Meters / 812 Yards
Cons
  • Long Shipping Time

Be careful with color choices

Caron One Pound - great value. I chose this to make a throw for my granddaughter who is going to college this fall. The colors were not exactly the same as in the picture. Creamy is actually a soft yellow, which doesn't work for this project with shades of gray. I'll use yellow for another project so it doesn't go to waste. Perhaps bigger photos of the flowers would have been more helpful.

Pros
  • Gauge: 16 stitches and 20 rows on 5mm needles (US 8)
Cons
  • Not sure
