Carplay Mirrorlink SD Card Touchscreen Navigator Review

This is a plug and play setup that looks the same as the factory radio so looks very nice. During installation there were cables (antenna cables) that could not be connected and had to be left loose. I think one is a GPS antenna which you don't need since you have CarPlay or Android and the other could be a satellite radio (who uses it anyway). After initially receiving the wrong radio, I finally received and was able to install the new radio. In contrast to the first radio sent in, the new radio was 100% connected to the existing wiring harness. It is important that you purchase a 1-2 Farkra antenna adapter that plugs into your radio if you wish to use AM/FM. I bought an extra Media Center warranty in case something goes wrong. After the installation, which turned out to be easier than expected, I had a problem after a day of use. Pros: The device is really ready to use. It plugs right in to replace our OEM decks. Looks great and works. 5 minutes installation. Cons: DOES NOT include an antenna cable adapter for older VWs (mine is 2011). If you want a working AM/FM radio, you need to buy an adapter. Best update for my 2010 VW CC. - Good build quality (photo attached). Not sure if it's OEM, but definitely feels and looks the same. Parts have no cosmetic imperfections such as mold overflow or otherwise. - Easy to install. Basically take out the old block and plug in this new power supply and it will work. I was delighted with this radio for my 2013 Jetta Sportwagen TDI. It came quicker than the estimated time, less than a week I believe which was great.
