Optimized for Road and Gravel Biking: Castelli Puro 3 Jersey FZ for Cycling Review

This is my favorite isolation shirt. It's soft, warm, and works well on dry but cool days (60 degrees Fahrenheit). I often wear it at home too.

medium ordered because reviews said true to size. That's definitely not true! I could hardly button my shirt, it's too small. Should have ordered a size larger. It was stated on the site that Castelli was accurate in her measurements. Sent it back today. I'm hoping for a refund because like everything on the internet, out of all other sizes.

Very good body. I find it perfect for fall and light winters. It works excellently in direct contact with the skin. The design is also very cool. Three back pockets make it as functional as a summer t-shirt. It's thick enough to protect and keep you warm in the cold, yet lightweight. Good choice of materials. I'm considering buying a second one.

I bought this as a gift and wanted a bright yellow reflective color when all the similar Gore t-shirts in my husband's size were sold out. The color and fabric seemed great so he wore it on a not so cold day. He was disappointed in the absence of Viking, saying it wouldn't keep him warm at all. Yellow was right. Unfortunately, he now has to cover most of it with his vest when using it. I wish I could return it.

I had no doubts about the material quality of the product - Castelli always make great cycling gear. I was a bit skeptical about the sizing as it's almost a known fact that Castelli work in "European" sizing, which means going up a size. I've read several reviews about this particular jersey that you don't need to measure - and in my case I agree. Very good quality jersey, as you are used to from Castelli. To my surprise, the fit was closer to amateur than pro with zero body fat. I often wear medium but have switched to small. The fabric is very stretchy and stretchy; a tight-fitting but not tight suit. This allowed me to choose a smaller size. The inner fabric is similar to fleece but thin and very soft. Avoid hot dryers or you will melt! The only thing I don't like is that the sleeves are relatively long, especially on the medium size.
