Awarded product: Accessory

This product works great. I have 3 cats and they all use the door now. I practiced letting them walk through the door before installing them and then helping them in and out the first day. None of my cats were startled by the loud slamming of the door. I installed a cat door in a boarded up basement window. This was the most convenient for me because I didn't have to bump into a door or wall. A door is a great thing because we no longer have to try to chase cats in at night before going to bed…

They are ok but the design could be improved.

These collar washers are required to operate the Cat Mate Elite Super Selective Cat Flap. They work well but the design could use some improvement. The size is too big for cats. I think it's the same size meant for medium to large dog doors. So when you attach them to cat collars, they look pretty big. I also wish they could make it smaller or even incorporate a collar as the door easily reads it even from a distance so the smaller size should work fine after reading the implanted chip which is a lot smaller. And a big downside, it's noisy. Not…

a necessary evil for collars, harnesses and leashes

good, not bad, but you know the expression. After 6 months of owning the door I had to buy 2 extra tags. I have two cats and one cat lost her collar twice and I found it once but the other cat managed to break it. I don't know how, but it doesn't scan anymore, which I didn't think was possible. You should really do two packs, they are way overpriced, in addition to a fairly expensive door. I mean, standard RFID tags in other applications cost only cents, CENTS! do. Considering a sealed plastic…
