Cheap plastic headset cover

I just needed a headset cover for MTB but because of the good price compared to other brands why not replace the whole headset immediately. To my surprise, is the cap plastic? Yes, plastic. I'm sure it will break on the first pull. Now I need to get an aluminum or carbon fiber cap

Headset Bearing Kit is exactly as described. Suitable for 44mm head tube. Rather than returning this item, I was to find a piece of pipe that these cups fit easily before I weld the pipe to the frame. They are a very high quality design and I'm hoping to incorporate them into one of my bike builds in the near future.
