Excellent quality, a little heavy

Suitable for our needs. This is especially nice because Europe doesn't have as many outlets as the US, so you can charge multiple devices with 3 plugs and just one on the wall. The device is of high quality and my wife's curling iron worked great with it. We didn't try the hair dryer because it wasn't designed for it. My only complaint is that this device is heavy, which is a big deal when traveling these days.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Some flaws

Annoying fan noise

Received today. After it was plugged in for about 45 minutes, the built-in fan kicked in and made a whirring, rattling noise. It seems to charge well and charge properly, but the box also says not to be used with devices that get hot, such as laptops. B. hair dryers. It's not ideal as I wanted to use it as a charging station next to my bed, but from now on I'll only use it when guests arrive and need additional charging options.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Worked great in north-east Germany.

Used and working as expected. The USB ports were VERY GOOD as we charged 4 iPhones daily. Worked well all night to feed my CPAP (which itself is VERY quiet). There is some fan noise, but I couldn't get used to the white noise at night. If I had the chance to put it under a raised bed with a blanket next to it, I doubt I'd even notice. People with very light or sensitive sleepers should pay attention to this point.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • No performance

We had everything plugged into it at the same time - smartphones, tablets

I thought it was a bit pricey but it turned out to be worth every penny! Used it in London, Paris and all over Spain. We had everything connected to it at the same time - smartphones, tablets, home appliances and it worked like clockwork with no issues. It has a fan for cooling like a laptop and can be a bit noisy at night when plugged in next to the bed. It's very durable, dropped a few times and loaded into our registered bags throughout the trip and still worked great. If you're traveling to

Look elsewhere for the best quality

I bought a version with a voltage converter and DOA came. Something large inside was dangling and could slide off in any direction you turned the device. It felt like the main converter was dangling and dangling inside. Plug it into 110V just to test the device and the main power LED turned blue but none of the power ports or USB ports had power. Then I noticed it was making little electrical pops inside and smelled like burnt wires, so I immediately turned it off and the unit was alreadyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • So-so

Heavy and underpowered.

When I bought this I knew I would regret it. I was right. Let's start with the basics: almost everything you use these days will work on 120 or 240 volts. Your cameras, computers, phones, etc. - almost any electronics you take with you to Europe will work on any voltage. The only things that *don't* work at 240V are things that require significantly more power - hair dryers, curling irons, etc. So a transformer like this that only puts out 150W is pretty much useless as a transformer*. *.
