I've only used it once and it was my first time curling my own hair so I'm by no means a pro. But even I managed to curl my hair well in 325 degree heat. I have thick black long Mexican hair and the curls lasted over 3 hours without any hair products. As someone who has never curled their hair with a straightener, this product was of interest. I always have to bring two hot tools or decide beforehand which hair I want. This is a really cool product. I've never seen anything like this. Works great as a curling iron and straightener. I have a straightener but have never had a curler, this 2-1 is what I'm looking for so I only need to take 1 with me when I am on road. I've been using it for a week now, the straightener works great as I have waves every morning which I don't like, but the curlers are a bit difficult to use. I had to watch a YouTube video to figure out the best way to hold my hair. My hair is blonde and only shoulder length, so that might make it more difficult. I got it a few days ago and started using it yesterday. So far I like this tool. I had qi that worked but wasn't ergonomic and almost burned me too often because of it. Hence the purchase of a new instrument. This tool is so good that I can use it on my fine 4a/3c hair on a lower setting (300 degrees). I am very impressed. I will update this review if this changes. But I don't think it will. If you're looking for a good 2-in-1 tool, this is it.
