We have heavy oak bar stools and handcrafted dining chairs with square legs and tiled floors. They didn't slide well on the tiles. I've tried things you can glue and hammer into chair bottoms, but they only worked for a while. I took them (brown) and put them on the bar stools at our house before the party. Chairs were being pushed everywhere, and they slid easily and quietly. So far they make a pretty solid impression. I think we will order a second set of chairs for our dining room.

I contacted the seller and they wanted to send me a brand new set when I only needed one part (such great customer service). I have downstairs neighbors who love hearing our six chairs move across their ceiling. Just kidding, they actually hate it. So these little socks have worked wonders, reducing a significant amount of noise when my kids forget to "live and move" and pull on them instead. They start to slide and if I don't catch them in time I find them under the table. I fear that in time they will meet the same fate as my children's socks. I don't blame the sock itself and I think the chair legs are the problem

In 2019 I bought chair socks from the same seller (BLENDNEW) which worked like a dream: bottoms well protected and held; We only replace them because after two years we started getting holes in our socks. I was disappointed that the same style doesn't seem to be available anymore. These new ones are lighter in color, different shape/knit style and don't have the same endurance.
