got a job for screwdrivers and wrenches

I needed to replace a part on my car and the only thing holding me back were a couple of torx screws that I wasn't the right size for. It seemed very well made and served its purpose. The price also left no room for complaints.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Minor issues

Great hand tool tool

I bought this T27 Torx screwdriver to remove the brackets that hold the tail light lenses on a Dodge Caravan. A torx screw was too tight to screw in, so I ground a straight groove in the screw's head to loosen it with a large flathead screwdriver, and I had to replace the screw. This tool is durable, hardened and will last for many years.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Out of style

WEAK - Tip broke on first use.

Bought to remove the chuck from my drill press which had frozen. The tip broke in the screw in the chuck so I now have a useless/broken torx driver and a useless $150 Dewalt drill since I can't get the broken bit out of the screw. So I can't remove the cartridge. Now I have to buy a brand new drill because of that crappy $3 screwdriver.

Pros
  • Pretty package
Cons
  • I will add later

WORRIED about Screwdrivers

I was worried the inside would be hollow, the teeth would bend easily based on some reviews. On the contrary, it's a welcome addition to my toolbox. I don't know what other users have used it for, but I use it for gunsmithing and I have no complaints. I like the ergonomics of the handle. I will definitely come back when my teeth start to set. I recommend buying.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • No

Quality handle - hand tools

I needed a #10 torx long enough to reach deep into the cavity of the cordless vacuum I was trying to repair (pictured). The torx bits I already had are one of those 8-in-1 folding blocks and they just weren't long enough to get to. It worked great. I was impressed with the quality, reminds me of what I grew up with and now I want more channellock drivers! I would like to find several such sets.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

T40 too big, T10 too small

I was trying to fill in some gaps in my Vaco-Torx line. Big mistake. This T40 tool is ridiculously HUGE. The handle is huge and too long to be really useful. I'm not sure what they were thinking when they designed it. This T10 tool is ridiculously small. The handle is tiny. I wouldn't recommend any of these if you're looking for mid-range tools. It is disproportionate compared to other brands.

A strange screwdriver, but I had to buy it to disassemble the coffee grinder

There is an expensive coffee grinder with motor replacement (free). He has bits called torx (a star shaped hole on the top of the screw that is not a cross, not a hex, but a special one called "torx") and so he had to buy a torx screwdriver. I'm glad I was able to buy a screwdriver for a few bucks instead of a whole set. Great seller, item as described, fast delivery, good value for money. Would definitely buy from seller again.

Pros
  • Hands-free work
Cons
  • There are nuances

good quality made in USA

My first set of Torx screwdrivers was a cheap set made abroad. So far they've all held up except for the T10 which broke after the first use so I decided to replace it with this channeled T10. Having used it a few times at work, it's definitely on par with my other US made screwdrivers. In addition to using it on T10 bolts, I also use it in situations where the 3/32 hex set screw is rounded and the edges are still sharp. I'm not a big fan of plastic handle screwdrivers but I'm not complaining…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Compatibility

Hand Tool Screwdrivers

This is not what you need for knife maintenance. The best word I can think of to describe how these torx screws fit is sloppy. Lately I've been frustrated with channel blocking tools. I try to buy American made products whenever possible as long as they aren't insanely expensive and these aren't. They are actually quite cheap considering their competitors are charging. If you want to work with electronics, they will probably work just fine. On knives, torx screws are often very tight and even…
