I was a bit nervous about buying this lip balm because of the bad reviews it got. My Target no longer stocks plain unscented lip balm (I know that's crazy), and I didn't feel like going from store to store looking for this product. The product arrived and matched the description. I use a lot of lip balm. This will last me a few years but when it runs out I will definitely buy again.

I love this lipstick and I have the right flavor, right amount, in the right packaging BUT almost 50% of my lipsticks don't roll RIGHT AWAY when opened the plastic wrap over each one. I always thought it was sporadic, but it turned out to be an essential part of the overall package. I saved some lip balms because I figured I could use a lip brush or find a way to fix them, but I really won't, and don't want to, need a brush just for a quick application of lipstick. I'm not sure why sun protection is one of the points they ask about when reviewing this product. I would definitely not recommend using it as an alternative to sunscreen. Even if it were to effectively block harmful UV rays, the application time as well as the number of sticks you would have to go through to achieve decent and even coverage would be intimidating. really moisturizes, although it tastes and smells strongly of cherries.

I have a feeling the classic ChapStick is the same recipe that has been used since the ChapStick was born in the 1880s. It's your father's lip balm in every way. "Dad, can I borrow your lipstick?" He'll give it to you. No "fruity" flavors or colors. Tastes like medicine but in a good way. You can feel and taste his work. It's your "once a day" lip balm that you apply in the morning before you go to work in the cornfields. Nobody confuses this with lipstick. no sir
