Switching on/off can be done simply by simply pressing/firmly touching the connected cables and quite easily. I also tested the power button myself and found that it works very simply too. Very uncomfortable! I hope that's not a trend, but my shortcoming. I will update the rating when the seller offers a solution.

The only real problem I've found is that by default the device is off when you're connected to the accessory port which only gets power when the car is on. You must install this device in a location where you can easily reach the power button on the back to turn it on. It seems to charge well. Good compact size. Cable length is ok, not very long.

It's like a lottery whether you get autoplay or not. The one I received didn't start but after a few emails with the seller they refunded me and told me to keep the one I received. A soldering iron came and fixed it himself. I bypassed the entire button mechanism so I ripped it out. See attached picture. I'm not responsible if you do the same, but it worked for me. The warranty is now void I think.

Charge very fast. I love the auto on feature. This newer model turns on when ignited (if your cigarette plug is ignition controlled). It's also easy to plug it into a wired outlet and turn it on and off as needed. Fully charges my S8 in about an hour. The quality seems to be good. A lot of previous reviews have talked about the inconvenience of turning the device on every time you start the car. The company listened to the feedback and changed the default setting to On in January. instead of "off". Works as expected except for one. I was using a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G with Samsung's wireless fast charger, which draws very little power when idle. Sometimes when I take my phone out of the cradle and turn it back on, it doesn't charge quickly until I unplug the cable or turn off the charger.
