I like this product for its ease of use and it’s very easy to clean. It defrosts my poultry and fish much quicker than leaving it out on the counter or in the fridge. I like that it’s also very easy to clean after I’m finished with it. Just make sure to put something underneath it to catch the melted liquid as it defrosts your meat.

This Chefly defrosting tray is made of an aluminum alloy which is food grade safe. It defrosts food really quickly and it does not detract from the original flavor of the food. It’s not a miracle but it works within a few hours. I was given it as a gift and now I’ve paid it forward to family members. Totally worth it.

But it works great! I bought it because I’m always forgetting to take stuff out of the freezer. My frozen solid rack of ribs are already half way thawed after an hour and a half.

I use it to cool my laptop. It works well as it distributes heat quickly. The fan on my computer doesn't spin up as often or as loudly when running more intense applications. +100 lifehack points.

This product was mediocre. Did a side by side compassion with meat in a bowl of water and this was lagging big time. That's my feedback.

At first, I was a little skeptical about whether or not this defrosting plate will actually speed defrosting.It does.As opposed to using a microwave oven's defrost cycle, which sometimes cooks the surface of the food that you're trying to defrost, this defrost plate is passive, requires no energy, and speeds up thawing. I tired two ways with individually sealed fish and hamburger patty both frozen. Both thawed adequately enough to prep for skillet top cooking within a twenty minute time frame. The only con is that it isn’t big enough but it’s perfect for one to two persons.

I think it takes slightly longer than what the packaging says (an hour instead of 45 minutes) but then again I'm also taking meat directly out of the freezer and placing it on the defrosting tray. I use it all the time after forgetting to take meat out that morning. I don't know what I did before using this!

Compared to other defrosting trays I've had, this one is not as good; it is lighter, thinner, and does not have any 'fins' to help conduct heat through the tray.I have tried using this tray to thaw meats and honestly don't find that it make that much of a difference vs. not using it (if any).It is easy to clean and store.I wouldn't really recommend it as I'm not so sure we'll use it that much as it's much faster to thaw in the sink using some warm water.
