Filters work great with my Chemex. My only complaint about them is that they seem to add flavor to the coffee. It is recommended to pour some hot water from the kettle to get rid of this taste. These are my favorite filters for Chemex coffee makers. If you pour hot water on it while it's in the chemex and pour that water out, you'll have no paper taste in your coffee at all and it will hug the chemex until you finish brewing and remove it.
