Chevrolet Sto N Sho Removable License Bracket Review

I didn't want the dealer to drill holes in my bumper for my front number plate. I didn't want to be stopped either because I didn't have it. This product is perfect for those who own a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro - you can remove the license plate simply by pulling the tab. Don't drill any holes! Love it!

I bought my Camaro CPO and it came with an OEM front license plate bracket already installed. I ordered STO N SHO after getting tired of looking at what an ugly front panel my car has. It's ridiculously easy to install and I've had no problems with it. I ordered painted bumper plugs to fill the holes left from the original bracket. I am very satisfied with the result!

The mount is very easy to install, it is almost invisible when the license plate is folded and the removal/installation of the license plate is very quick. Also very durable. I'm glad I found it - I can't stand the thought of driving with my license plate constantly ruining my Camaro's beautiful lines, but sometimes I'm more comfortable with it. This is the perfect solution.

I live in New York and need a faceplate. The total fine with the surcharge is $283. Ouch! I looked, looked, tried the tow screw to attach the retaining plate, doesn't work. Here is the one you want. It's so well designed. All you need is a 7mm wrench. The bolts are easily accessible lying on the floor. Simply loosen the 2 screws, attach the plate and insert the screws. I liked that the plate can actually be screwed to the bracket. It comes with all mounting hardware.

Bought my Camaro and the bit the dealer gave me for my driver's license requires me to drill holes in my car lol, No thank you. Glad I found this! It took me about 15 minutes to install! The only thing I would wish is that it has a fastener for the underside of the license plate. The license plate was pretty loose when I first installed it, but I tightened the top two screws pretty tight to hold it in place for now, lol. Highly recommended :)

I received the item quickly, it looked and was installed exactly as described. This is a good but expensive alternative to drilling holes in your new car's bumper and easily removed for display. However, I think the product should come with a thin, non-abrasive foam pad that runs between the panel and attaches to the underside of the bumper cover. I'm sure the paint will wear or discolour over time due to the vibration of the metal against the painted fiberglass.

Mounted on a 2018 Camaro Convertible. Fits perfectly and took a few minutes to assemble. It comes with screws to attach the license plate and the existing screws on the car are used to attach the holder. It seems really safe, which is why I feel like those who commented on it are falling off and installed incorrectly. If the frame is set incorrectly, the pin holding the pie will not engage.
