I fell in love with the color and ordered a set of 2. As soon as it arrived I found I have one in black, this pot is very light which is what I need. My heavy enameled cast iron cookware was too heavy to lift, although it was comfortable to cook in. Now I can use these pans for the same purposes, braising and frying. I've also switched to silicone utensils.

I liked the color, the outer color (red) is so cheerful, pink-red (vs. orange-red). Metal handles heat up more than in the sun, it would be nice to cover them with silicone (to match the lids). They're enameled and things don't stick, although I can see signs of wear on them (and burnt enamel shouldn't). Because of the handles, they seem tight, but the smaller one ends at an angle. While they're good, they don't last years before needing to be replaced.

BUY THE CALDERO SET! You will fall in love! We got this set last week and have used 1 or both pots for every meal from bacon and eggs to grilled cheese sandwiches, pot and fried beans, tortillas, roast chicken, pork, veggies, rice and the list goes on! Absolutely perfect eat every time. Frying pans heat up quickly - only cook on low or medium heat, high heat is not necessary, it will damage and stain the pan. You need potholders. PROS I bought these hoping to replace the aging aluminum rice pots I've had for years. The old pots were still in decent condition, but lately I've noticed that rice tends to get stuck in the bottom of the pot. I'm generally skeptical about non-stick pots and pans. They usually work great, but quickly lose their non-stick properties with each use.
