I bought this to replace my Ingersoll Rand 3445 Air Angle Grinder. I am happy to announce that THIS IS DEFINITELY METAL. Most likely powder coated aluminum. (Of course I don't want to scratch it and see for myself.) This device has the solid construction I was looking for. I've noticed that elsewhere it looks exactly like it has the same grinder, same color, different brand and almost the same price, but sorry I forgot the exact brands.
