🚙 CIPA 10500 Custom Towing Mirror - Dodge, Pair: Enhanced Visibility and Safety Review

Bought to replace the exact same model we had on the passenger side of our truck for years - had to be replaced as my husband used it to cut a branch on the side and it broke. We were glad we could find it. It fits our needs perfectly and works well.

Mirrors work great and fit well. Installation is easy. The extra length is perfect for sliding in the trailer. The mirror glass adjustment is not very smooth, making it difficult to adjust to a satisfactory position. Not the most austere mount for the mirror either, but the price reflects that.

Worked well for more than 2200 km. I've only checked the tightness of the nuts once or twice at the gas stops. After that, they stayed taut throughout the trip. You get a slight wobble because the stock truck mirror is only designed to hold the stock mirror. When you add these CIPAs, the area exposed to the wind becomes much larger. So any movement you see in the mirror is outside of the standard mirror mount. But at least I could see much further behind my 8 foot wide cargo trailer! A good…

I've read the reviews and seen some people say they don't fit the Dodge Dakota Sport, but that's not what I have. However, it is possible that the SLT has similarly sized mirrors. This is a good choice if your car didn't have factory towing mirrors. They are well made, firmly connected to the standard mirrors and do not interfere with the stock view in any way. But they are not as useful as I had hoped. It's a bit confusing because you see two views when you look in the mirror. I'm amazed at how many people immediately rate these mirrors as fantastic! Yes they are light, yes they look decent, and yes they are a fair price.
