CIPA Black 11550 Mirror 15 19 Review

These are really great towing mirrors - I recently bought a caravan and the standard mirrors on my F150 aren't quite enough to see the sides of the trailer when I'm driving; They definitely give me the view I need, they're easy to install (and remove when I'm worried about them being stolen) - and inexpensive. Great solution to my new trailer problem.

Worked great on my 2016 Lariat F150. They fit well and don't look weird on the truck. I don't keep them all the time, only when towing. They fit easily over mirrors (just make sure your mirrors are clean to begin with. There is a plastic screw that screws in from the back to hook the mirror in place. Only gripe is that the screw doesn't seem to end in the intended one place and you can tighten.

Mirrors fit very well and gave me the extra rear view I needed with my 2015 F-150 with standard power mirrors and an 8 1/2 foot wide toy tractor. They did not interfere with any functions (parking lights, low beam, etc.) and were very easy to install and remove. Best of all, they were rock solid with absolutely no turbulence or instability at speeds up to just over 75 mph! For the price you can't go wrong!

These custom mirrors are well finished and engineered. They harmonize with the original mirror finish and are fully functional. My passenger side mirror is magnified making objects appear closer than they actually are, unlike some other reviewers who have tested and reported. I'm towing a narrow trailer that I can't see at all with stock mirrors. Now I can see it to make sure it's tracking etc. and going back and forth much easier. Very satisfied.

Driver's side works great but passenger's side is annoying. The mirror is not concave so everything is magnified and it is almost impossible to see the other side of the pendant. I have a 34ft RV and need mirrors to see the back of my trailer. I would NOT recommend them. I would return them if I could but my wife has already thrown the box away. Feels like I spent $55. If the passenger side was concave and I could see without super magnification it would give 5 stars.

THE ONLY THING I DIDN'T BEAT WAS ADJUSTING THE MIRROR THEMSELVES. VERY LONG, THERE IS NO SETTING. When I saw them being made I smeared some WD-40 on the ball seat. AFTER ABOUT 10 MINUTES, SHE STARTED SHAREING. JET MORE WD-40 AND THE NEST WORKS WHILE I HAVE FULL RANGE OF MOVEMENT TO ADJUST THE MIRROR. NOW THEY WORK PERFECTLY. THE ONLY DISADVANTAGE OF USING WD-40 WAS REDUNDANT. I HAD TO KEEP THEM IN DIFFERENT DRINKS UNTIL I GET MOST OF IT AND THEN WASH THEM WITH DAWN AND WARM WATER. AFTER THEY…
