The pan is very big!

I love the look and quality of this pan! That's a lot better than a frying pan from the discount store. I seem to wear out certain pan sizes (like skillets and small saucepans) because I use them so often that I seem to have all sorts of little things left that I just pick up when I need a certain size. I've never had a pan like this so I really like it. The size of a Dutch Oven is often too deep and a normal pan is not deep enough for certain things. I have a wok pan but it doesn't have enough

This pan can withstand 500 degrees of heat, just like a grill!

I've loved Circulon for decades. And this frying pan is no exception: it's amazing, excellent, great. And thanks to its size and ability to heat up in the oven to up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit*, it makes a great grill. Conducts heat quickly and stably. (*Frying pan up to 500, lid up to 350.) The combination of non-stick rings and metal allows for better browning. You can also use it to better separate the browned surface of the food. Also easy to clean. A smooth curve from bottom to top allowsโ€ฆ

Oh that lid! for cookware

The first thing you notice about this pot with lid is of course the handle on the lid. It's like a work of art. But none of that matters if the pan itself is of poor quality. This pot has a round, raised interior. It requires a different cooking style that I'm not used to. So if you've never used a pan like this before, you might have a slight learning curve. I tested this with the corned beef hash first, then added the beaten egg after the okroshka was browned. Just so you know, one of theโ€ฆ
