This is a brand new appliance, I put it on the stove and parts of the front cover melted. I was no different than any other kettle I have. Who has ever heard of a kettle that cannot be heated?

The kettle was working great until a piece of plastic inside the handle broke and we were unable to open the spout lid. I contacted Circulon and they immediately sent a replacement. Update: The replacement that Circulon sent me broke as well. I would not spend my money on this kettle.

This kettle is annoying because the latch keeps breaking which means you have to run the boiling water through it with your hands which is unacceptable. I sent the kettle back and exchanged it for a new one from the same manufacturer thinking it was an accident and the same thing happened to the second kettle. The latch broke within the first week of use. Give him back too. So annoying.

I bought this kettle to replace an OXO Uplift kettle I bought in 2010. The Circulon kettle is a big disappointment because while it looks good the functionality is terrible. When pouring, the steam rises up to the hand, which is not really a good thing! The problem lies in both the handle and the spout. The spout is too vertical and the handle too far forward, so this combination creates the problem of vertical steam rising right where your hand is on the handle! Look elsewhere, too bad OXO…

I am very satisfied with this kettle. The whistle is not too loud, but loud enough to be heard from afar. I use mine every day so there is always water in it. I have an electric stove, I put the burner on medium heat. The bottom and sides of the pan are clean, like the day you bought it. I would recommend this pot. I've owned this pan for about a month. Unfortunately this kettle does not work. It is absolutely beautiful and feels very well made. I fell in love when I opened the box. However, I did not make this purchase as a decoration. The functionality of the kettle is abysmal. In order to pour hot water, the kettle has to be held at a very awkward angle. I bought this to replace my kettle which was leaking at the bottom seam. There are no seams, so there are no problems. The color is a little less bright than in the picture but still a nice navy. The release on the handle is convenient and does not heat up, eliminating the need for oven mitts. The reason for the three stars is the nose.
