Replaced a modem I had rented from Comcast for the past 5 years after my Linksys router, model BEFSR41, had failed after the same time. During this time, the system worked well, although towards the end I did notice a decrease in speed. Apparently this was caused by a router that ended up failing completely. This is a great little modem. I connected via the ethernet port so I didn't have any OS compatibility issues, this only applies to a USB connection. My provider is ATTBI.
