Pretty cheap as I wanted. The only thing that bothered me was that most sockets in Italy were vertical and what I put in there partially fell out because the pin sockets are quite loose. Sometimes I had to tighten the plug very gently until it "almost" stayed in. Other times I put something next to it to hold the fork.

Your device falls out. I used this for my USB charger and it worked, but if you even looked at it funny it fell out. Your best bet is to get an extension cord to plug it in and then plug it into an extension cord. The kind you use for Christmas lights, there's no weight pulling directly down. It worked, but it was more of an annoyance than worth either getting a better one or using an extension cord.

Go somewhere else; cheap and wear out quickly. I bought two of these plugs as cheap adapters for my regular trips from the US to Europe. I used to have similar ones but I lost them so I bought two of these. Wrong decision: The pinholes of North American plugs don't have a firm grip and they loosen quickly: whatever you plug in (phone, computer, razor, etc.) will quickly stretch the little grip they have and then fall out. Useless - useless. Thrown in the trash where they belong.

This adapter is superbly built and a great choice if you are traveling to Europe from any country that has US double bladed plugs. Make sure your device doesn't need a converter. While most modern cell phones and other small electronic devices do not require converters, you will need to test your device or its connector to determine this. When I received it for the first time and took it with me to Germany, I immediately noticed that it didn't fit because of the pointed sides. I had to use my knife and cut the plastic to fit. This is a cheap adapter and you might find it useful if you are traveling in mainland Europe, but it has a few problems: (a) Although this one and many others like it older adapters are advertised as US to Europe plug adapters they are not accurate. The size of the prongs is Hong Kong, not European. European points are similar but thicker. As a result, forks don't exactly fit many forks, especially ones that have been heavily used.
