Solar charge lamp plugs are easy to find but they are not very good. This style is better than most because it's made of thick aluminum with thick paint rather than plastic. It also has a low profile, with others often protruding several inches above the top of the post. I tested them during the day to see if they would light up and charge and they worked great. I installed 8 of these lights on my front deck and they have lasted 2 full seasons in Colorado. The only issues were the batteries which lasted 6-9 months before needing to be replaced, the replacement of the bolts with longer stainless steel bolts, rust on the internal bolts and the black caps fading in the sun.
