Metal will flex when pressure is above normal use but for the price they are great and will last if not abused. The scissors work great, better than expected and smooth.

I used an older brand before upgrading to this set and can say they are faster. Curved tip scissors were new to me as I'm used to straight scissors and don't care how I cut straight lines or hard to reach places in my planted aquarium. It's also useful in my saltwater tanks for trimming my smaller soft corals. When it came to cleaning my large fish tank these tools have made things a lot easier. I have a 40 gallon tank where I use a vacuum tank to scrape the bottom and using a cheap spatula no longer works. With these tools I can not only clean the bottom of the tank, but more thoroughly.
