True to size

I don't like working with bamboo needles because the yarn doesn't slip easily. But you just have to ease the tension a little to avoid it. The needle corresponds to the specified size. It measures exactly 24 inches from tip to tip. I would advise being careful when sliding the needles over each other as sometimes it looks like the needle tip has snapped. But otherwise it works fine and I can do what I need.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Excellent knitting needles

I'm a relatively new knitter but have quickly mastered this hobby over the past few months. I also do this long enough to prefer bamboo needles! The stitches are less likely to "slip" off the needles than aluminum. The downside to bamboo is that when you're knitting tight (like I can be), it can sometimes feel like you're fighting the bamboo to get it off the needle. I've learned to relax a bit - they're great and fun to use.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some mistakes

Clover Takumi Bamboo needles are always my first choice

I have been knitting for 16 years and have a lot of experience with both good and bad needles. Clover Takumi Bamboo needles are always my first choice and I recommend them to all knitters, beginners and experienced alike. They're smooth so they're gentle on your hands, don't snag on yarn, slide easily over stitches to work with, but not slippery so your stitches don't fly off uncontrollably. Recommend these simple and beautiful needles!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black
