I bought a new 5 gallon jerrycan from the store and the new 'safety' spout was difficult to work with. This solved the problem.

I replaced a leaking OEM hard stem spout with a 5 gallon plastic gas bottle. No leaks. Now all I have to do is figure out how to install the vent as the OEM spout is self vented.

Well done. Gaskets/washers work well. No leaks from nozzle or cap. After dealing with a gas cylinder that has been leaking for years, this is highly recommended. I wish the nozzle was a little more flexible. I am by no means saying that this nozzle does not bend. But a little more and it would be better.

one of the rings fits my last two sores in the ass gas cartridges. I drilled a hole for the vent and stuck it in. The vent cap takes some pressure to close, but it works. I plan to use the spouts that come with the cans during shipping and only use this product when I'm refilling. You have to make sure you line up the cap and gasket carefully or you'll get leaks everywhere. When I first ordered the red dome insert for closing the gas bottle without a spout was missing. The ventilation insert is a joke. He won't even close. I'm learning how to operate new, ridiculously complex gas caps. I bought some excellent needle nose pliers and can remove all the levers and knobs from new caps in less than a minute. I then use epoxy to seal any holes before removing and I have clean…
