Easy to blunt but also easy to sharpen which is a plus. I have a Powermatic Morticer and it doesn't fit the hubs as tightly as the Jet and Poermatic bits and understand they are from the same manufacturer. I also didn't feel like CMT wiped the chips. I bought various sizes of CMT plunge chisels for my slotting machine. The bits are finely machined and quite rough on the outside. I spend about 30 minutes per bit polishing the bit, but some of the machine marks were so deep I couldn't remove them. After polishing I also sharpened the chisel. The drill bit also had a lot of machine marks and I spent 15 minutes with each drill bit to remove the marks and trim off the cutting edges which are sticking out slightly from the edges of the drill bit…
