Quality is not as good as some others but they do the job. They're a bit smaller and not as durable, but good enough for the price.

I tried these out when it came time to replace my old, old felt socks that had seen better days. So far I'm impressed. They are easy to clean with a pressure washer, in the car or even with a kitchen sink sprayer. The weave of the fabric also makes it easier to shake out stray amphipods that have become entangled in socks. I will get more!

The material of the sock itself is high quality, the stitching is good. However, they are very long. Make sure they match your swamp. Also, the ring itself sits fairly loosely in my 4" filter sock holder. They kind of float around and allow some water around or under the toe, which isn't ideal. This is the first filter sock I've ever owned. I used them when starting my new 90 gallon salt water tank. So far they've worked well. To clean, I just douse them with hot tap water a few times and then let them air dry. Aquarists will scold me for using tap water instead of RODI water, but I've had no problems.
