Works great if you know how to use it

This M35 step drill worked great! After many different manufacturers have tried drilling holes in 1/4" steel pipe, the "KEY" is to move as slowly as possible. For some reason, many manufacturers advertise these step drill bits as a "high-speed steel-turn This is the quickest way to kill those bits in less than 5-10 seconds. Having used a Dewalt cordless drill and drilled as slowly as possible at max power I have yet to kill a step drill. This one worked great with no damage after 8 1-3/8"…

Total Garbage best in Industrial Drill Bits

I bought this drill bit to cut two 1 3/8 inch holes in a 16 gauge stainless steel sink. It was necessary to overheat, stain and ignite the work. It took over an hour to cut a 3/4 inch hole, after which I stopped and drove to Harbor Freight and bought a hydraulic die and set of dies to finish the job. For the second hole I used a thinner Klein Unibit step drill (pictured). It cut through stainless steel and created a flawless 1/2 inch hole in less than 20 seconds. This allowed me to apply the…

Update: GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! At first I gave it 1 star but they contacted me despite the fact that the return period had already passed and gave me a full refund. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because while I wouldn't use it for industrial applications, it can work well for some non-essential jobs.
