Breaks easily best in ready to paint ceramic

They work really great and are very good for sublimation or heat transfer but they break easily. I broke 2 trying to pinpoint a good print but had great results after that. The sticky cork works great and is a great way to cover up mistakes if you get it wrong on the first try!

DIY Coaster Set

I have tried using acrylic paint on these coasters and found that some colors or brands of paint do not work with them. I was able to make the black, red, and pink colors look opaque, but I had trouble doing the same with the brown color. It was only brushed and the brushstrokes were obvious. I filled the top with epoxy and it rooted well. The stands are strong and thick. I only gave them 3 stars because of acrylic paint adhesion issues.

nice set, instructions can be used

Im impressed with these coasters and just wish they came with instructions on how to use different materials to decorate and seal. They're super absorbent and it would be good to know that the bugs can't just be wiped off. The thin cork provided is pre-cut and easily attaches to the back of the stand once it is complete. They are quite heavy and the surface is smooth, making it easy to draw or paint on them. I've completed four so far using a combination of stamp ink and acrylic paint. I plan…

Unglazed Customizable Tile Coasters - love them for the ink and paint

I love this set. The coasters come in a sturdy box with a foam insert so they were all in good condition and not dusty. I wish they had more (well they do but the ones that were available on the main list) to be honest I could draw them all day. It can be worked on, but when finished it looks like a finished work of art. The first thing to note is that these tiles are UNGLAZED which means they don't have that. glossy surface and it also means that any product you apply to it will be absorbed by
