This product is used for soundproofing my truck. The product was easy to see in my truck. I recommend it to anyone who has a noisy truck. I no longer had to raise my voice to have a conversation, but was able to carry on a normal loud conversation.

To repair a rare but annoying leak where my patio cover met the faceplate. The builder put this foam filler in, but when it pours properly, the rain spurts around and around. Drops on my outdoor living space. In less than an hour on my roof, I secured it between the corrugated patio cover by inserting it into the grooves and the front panel. It's the middle of summer now, but I really think I got it right this time!

Great product! I used it to seal the seams between the flat metal roof on the back porch. Hold onto it for almost a year now. It is very well preserved. I live in Florida so humidity and heat are very important here. I hope this helps clarify any questions about the integrity of the product. Definitely worth it. Promise. Just make sure you at least clean the surface you are going to apply this to to maximize adhesion.

What I liked about this item is how easy it is to use. I used this product on the edges and seams of a metal roof. I am giving this product 5 stars because so far the product has withstood the extreme heat of south Texas. The quality of this product seems to be very good. I say this because after applying this product to my roof my roof has not yet leaked in all the areas where I applied it. Therefore, I recommend the product and will buy more if necessary!

Used this material for soundproofing my 70's VW Beetle. I used almost 2 rolls of this material to make the trunk, floor panels and front panels. After all this I had about 3 feet left. One piece of advice I would give is to use the heat gun on each piece for about 10 seconds before styling. This makes the sticky part even stickier, like sticky asphalt, and makes it stick much better. I may have to buy more to make the roof before installing the headliner.

I bought these to put on my 2004 Honda Civic to improve the sound and keep them from rattling in my car and let me say they are amazing. I used 4 rolls in total to cover all of my doors and entire trunk. It smelled at first but after the car stopped it hasn't smelled since and I like LA where temperatures can get very high. I'm in my 90's almost 100 degrees but no smell. It was. I was very skeptical at first but let me tell you this product works amazingly I will definitely be buying more to do

I re-read the description to make sure it didn't include any exceptions/warnings (which were noted on the reel ie wet slippage and 'incompatibility with EPDM, TPO, flexible PVC, uncured neoprene and silicone sealant". The tape has a waterproof surface and an adhesive surface. It's 6 inches wide, which works well with clapboards, especially when layering is required. The adhesive side is questionable. All edges have gaps and places where it just won't stick, even on prepared shingles. Strip, that's a problem, as what the stick actually does, it can't be lifted to remove that section.
