The long handle comes in handy when the coffee level in the container is low. One and two tablespoons cover different types of coffee and the recommended amount per cup. I checked them on the gram scale and on the tablespoon to a known accuracy. It's actually very close to a tablespoon or two. Not all measuring spoons are even close to the size listed on them. These coffee spoons are amazingly durable and beautiful, even on the countertop. The steel is very high quality and easy to clean. I've saved so much money by measuring my coffee that I've traditionally spent nearly twice as much as I would by eye. Don't waste expensive coffee!
