Cold Air Intake Kit Performance Performance Parts & Accessories ~ Emission System Review

I bought a Typhoon cold air intake kit for my Honda Civic. I received it in two days. Completely new in box. Everything was included. Step by step instructions. Installation took two hours and greatly improved performance and fuel economy. Worth the time and money!

Well I used a filter search based on my car and it didn't come up when I tried to install it. I only recommend it for manual motors! It looks like very good reception and it was sad to reconfigure it. I would give 5 stars, the nut didn't fit my car :'(

This product does what it's supposed to do: opens the engine airflow and draws air from a colder spot. I used to breathe 120 degrees Fahrenheit air out of the engine bay, now the temperature is around 90 when the car starts and drops to 80 when I move. Mind you, it's the Texas heat! I think it's important to note that this product requires disassembly of the passenger side fender liner (below) and the passenger side tire . for a complete installation. I only used part of the winter kit (see below) and didn't have to remove the fender to do so. If you're not happy with that, get a "short" cold air intake kit that just eliminates the second set of tubes. This will save you a few bucks if you never intend to remove the tire and fairings.
