Suitable for Ford Super Duty 2015!

The item says it would fit pre 2016 Ford Super Duties but Revane says it wouldn't fit my 2015. In fact, it fits perfectly. The processing quality is excellent and after installation I immediately ordered a second one for the other side. My back door has a retractable step and is very heavy. I will update the review if details don't work as expected. Much cheaper than Deezee!

Not strong enough for spares

Installation was easy, very smooth to be honest. The luggage rack is definitely NOT strong enough for my tailgate for a 97ft f150. He falls fast, the posture seems to slow him down a bit, but not enough. Maybe I have a bad carrier or need a second one for the other side of the tailgate? However, the instructions clearly state that you only need to install from the drivers side. Also, the support team is hard to reach, not that easy, still didn't understand how to contact them.

Good complement to spare parts

Works great when lowering the tailgate. Install it on the "stylish side" (stepped side) f150 '99; had to adjust the lower bracket on the tailgate a bit to fit - not sure if the average/casual installer would find the extra work easy - but with the right tools it does. Also the tailgate OEM wire needs to be on the driver's side be removed - again, the average person may find this less than desirable, but the tailgate is solid and well-made - ie. rear door without a cable. Waste of money

Before I comment, let me say that I am a retired mechanical engineer and my experience may not match yours. After struggling with a heavy tailgate on my 2000 F-150 for 20 years, I saw the "Tailgate Lift Assist" as a boon to my aging back. I ordered the device and received it in 2 days, so far so good. then I opened the box. The red lock-tite was unsealed and spilled all over the package rendering the installation instructions unreadable and sealing everything else. Also, there was no stub…
