excellent kitchen timer

This is the second timer of this design that I have bought and although both have different names they work very well. They're easy to set up, loud enough to be heard in another room, easy to stop, easy to reset, easy to read, and easy to carry in your pocket when needed.

Pros
  • very good value for money
Cons
  • incredible piggy bank

No sound after 1 week

I had this timer before and eventually it didn't bother me anymore so I decided to buy another one from the same company. I thought the price was a bit high but I liked my older one so I bought this one. After just a week the audio stopped, so it was mostly useless to me. I hope the company will take note of this feedback and help me resolve the issue.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Best digital kitchen timer

I had one (different brand but exact same timer) for many years before it finally died. Then I bought another timer (the big white one with the blue buttons that comes up with every quest) and it broke the first time I dropped it. Pooh. I was so happy that I finally found it! It works great and from my experience so far I know it will last a long time. Recommend!

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs

Worn out after two years

This timer lived up to my expectations until last week when it started beeping randomly and adding seconds to the display as I operated the timer. I replaced the factory battery with a new one, but it continued to misbehave. Now it squeaks even if I don't touch it. I've removed and replaced a new battery a few times but the random beeps continued. I expected such a simple device to last for many years, but it became unusable after only 2 years.

Pros
  • Wide Range
Cons
  • Zero

I like! best in the kitchen and dining room

For me the two most important things are volume and ease of programming Volume depends on the listener. To a large extent, and for me it's normal. As for programming, it's inconvenient but doable, for example, to erase you have to hold down two keys at the same time. Also, the 1-59 Seconds button must be firmly pressed to fast forward, otherwise you'll only move one second per button press. Conclusion, yes I would buy it again as it is still usable and loud enough.

Pros
  • handsfree
Cons
  • very expensive

Finally a timer that's pretty loud and obnoxious!

I often multitask, cook while doing the laundry, or do other things. This timer is REALLY loud which I love. I listen to it almost everywhere in my house so I don't forget what I'm doing. It also works as a great tool for timing when my kids take turns at the computer, playing video games, or whatever. This has reduced the number of arguments since the timer is absolute and they have to give their other siblings a chance when their time is up!

Pros
  • Builds confidence
Cons
  • Out of style

LOUD Should be a relative term

LOUD is obviously a relative term because I think this timer has a LOW alarm. I was so disappointed and angry when I received my timers in the mail. (I bought three.) A class action lawsuit should be brought against the manufacturer claiming that this timer rings LOUD. Yes, I wear hearing aids, but with corrected hearing I can hear fairly well, but unless I'm within 10 feet of this timer it's barely audible in a quiet room. FAINT is how I would describe it. I know without my hearing aids I…

  • Best in Niche
