    Unreliable PSU Spoils Raspberry Build

Using this product, our team found that the integrated power supply is its weakest point. At times, the unit fails to deliver the necessary power, leading to system instability. On the plus side, the small form factor and build quality are commendable. However, unless the PSU issues are addressed, we cannot recommend this product for anything beyond basic use.

    Pros
    • Compact size saves space and simplifies installation
    Cons
    • Limited compatibility with other hardware due to integrated power supply

This works great as a retro gaming console.

I bought my Raspberry Pi 3B last year for the sole purpose of making a retro gaming console. First, I decided that I would build an enclosure for the Pi and an external hard drive. So I went out and bought wood, drills and routers to cut grooves and holes, an extension cord with a switch, a USB hub, and other small accessories. After half assembling a "box" to house the innards of my retro arcade console, I came across this article. I really wish I could be more vigilant and try harder to lookโ€ฆ

    Pros
    • Set top box style case including media remote for in body IR
    Cons
    • Requires power outlet

You don't need a smelly hard drive mount!

where to start. Firstly, don't buy it unless you want to modify the box to work with your internal hard drive. My package looked like an open box. It was unsealed and looked like it had been pierced. Who knows, maybe the UPS guy wanted to check it out, but it was probably an open-boxed item. However, I wanted to use it. The connection and everything connected fine, but then I tripped over the hard drive bracket. Basically there is no bond. Your hard drive will fall over if you don't protect itโ€ฆ

    Pros
    • disk space. Additional USB to power the hard drive on the built-in board
    Cons
    • I vaguely remember
