Shanren Di-Pro GPS COMPUTER is not what I expect from this product.

It's disappointing to say the least, the RPM is measured by the speed sensor, it doesn't show the actual speed I'm riding at and the heart rate monitor is slowly picking up the true heartbeat and it shows that my heartbeat is always above 150-170 beats per minute. Any bike GPS you see is cheap, it's best to avoid. These cheap Chinese bike units don't offer the features and satisfaction you get when you buy them compared to Garmin 520 or Garmin 1030 plus which are better. I'm going to buy aโ€ฆ

Not easy to use and not waterproof at all:

I used it in Hong Kong after a deal with Indiegogo. The whole setup is insanely unfriendly and uncomfortable. Worse still when you change bikes and have to re-vape the sensor over and over again. Then the first rain. Not waterproof at all. I wrote to them, sent them photos and nothing. They claimed he couldn't stand the rain. The screen is endlessly fogged up, USB oxidized, despite a well-fitting cover. After that, on sunny days, the fog still comes months after the rain and can't see theโ€ฆ

  • โœ” BLUETOOTH AND ANT+ DUAL MODE - Di-Pro Supports all brands of ANT+ or Bluetooth heart rate monitor, speed sensor, cadence sensor, power meter. Supports smart bike trainers.
Cons

This GPS navigator has such a long battery life; I am very impressed!

I was looking for a GPS bike computer with a longer battery life because I sometimes had to do longer trips of more than 300 miles. My old Garmin only runs about 10+ hours and it really drove me crazy when it broke down during a trip. I wasn't aware of Shanren until I came across a Cycling Weekly post about this GPS. So I decided to give it a try. I only fully charged it once and then did a few long test drives. Finally, I am very impressed with the result - only 1770 km and 96.6 hours as Iโ€ฆ

Pros
  • โœ” COMPATIBLE FOR STRAVA. Bike routes and data can be uploaded to the Shanren Sport app and shared with Strava.
Cons
  • Periodicity

Great computer, mount and cadence - solid data app interfaces with Strava

Easiest to set up using the Sharen Sports app from your smartphone. THIS WAS IMPORTANT TO ME: In August 2020 this kit came with the Beat 10 HRM (their old technology). The new Beat 20 has many more features. If you want a more advanced HRM, you'll need to purchase it separately. Had I known this beforehand I would have bought the cadence kit and then the Beat 20 separately. Now I have a Beat 10 that I don't need and a Beat 20 is on the way.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Not the best

Shanren Discovery-Pro

Very good bike computer compared to many other brands. An excellent battery that lasts several hundred kilometers on charging. If you use it with a front light, you need to charge every 2 rides of about 80-90 km. Good syncing with my Shanren Beat 20 and Shanren Raz-Pro especially for light syncing and also syncing with my Magene Speed Sensor and Magene Cadence. So far this is the best bike computer I own. Hopefully Shanren team can update the Di-Pro with additional features like GPS graphicsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • No automatic control
