I was skeptical at first but it is exactly as expected. We cleaned 4 Mitsubishi Mini Splits (which were dirty) with this hood/lid and it was just what we needed. The hose was long enough and the quality of the product is excellent. Now we will clean the devices more often as it seems to be very durable. I'm glad we got this and highly recommend it.

If you're looking at this you probably realize your mini split needs cleaning and why didn't anyone tell you that right before one? We used it on all five mini splits and it was really worth it. Holds up well and will be saved for next time. As soon as I learned how to clean, I stopped using the front cover. Be sure to use clear wall coverings. They just fold under the block but prevent the wall from getting wet. I overlapped mine and had no problems.

This product did what it was supposed to. Allowed me to get the mold out of my mini splits and use a battery powered pressure washer inside the mini split to rinse it out and not get the walls wet! It's not an easy task, but this product was well worth the price. Just make sure you attach the drain securely to whatever bucket you're using so water doesn't get everywhere, and also put some towels on the floor under the mini-split to catch any dripping water.

If you have a mini split air conditioner/heat pump with wall mounted units this is a must have. This helps capture all of the water and cleaning solution during the cleaning process. We haven't cleaned the wall heads in four years. What came out was disgusting. With this product we can clean the unit at the beginning and end of each heating and cooling season. It is well made and should last for many years. The only minor complaint is the drain hose, which tends to curl in and out of the water…

I was really sold on the fact that this item is reusable. Over $100 just for HVAC contractors just popping up, it's a lot more cost effective to keep split system mini air conditioners clean and running at peak efficiency. It is very easy to use and does what is expected of it. Keep the wall dry and collect drains with no problem. If I had to complain about a product, it would be a tube made out of very cheap plastic that doesn't stretch at all. I used duct tape and taped it to the inside wall…
