Very happy with these tires.

I really like these tires on my road bike. A friend who rides a lot recommended putting them on my bike after it got warm in the sun or cold temperatures and it made installation a lot easier than if I tried it straight out of the box. Continental also had a really detailed installation video with a link in the instructions in the box. Will definitely consider buying again.

How many punctures can 2 tires have?

After three 18 miles of road and pavement I got it right with these tires. On my first ride I noticed that the tires ran a bit slower than on my Conti 4000/5000, but I expected that. Trip Two I had two apartments above a cobbled driveway that wasn't very cluttered. Trip 3 I had an apartment driving on a slippery pavement. I've used a Conti 4000, 5000 or Gatorskins on the same track before but wanted to reduce the vibration. The big mistake of the loser theses.

is the best. These things are the perfect combination of a fast, low-drag tire and a durable, puncture-proof tire. I have used race tires and have had up to 1500 miles of punctures almost every set so I never "replace" them and I have used Gatorskins which are bulletproof - no punctures over 3000 miles per set but they are heavy, slow and grippy, like wagon wheels on a wet road. This is my favorite tire for the near future.

Very poor puncture protection

I've been riding continental alligator skins for about 10 years. I wanted to try something different as I heard they were more comfortable and offered similar puncture protection. On the same roads I've ridden Gatorskins on for years with no problems, today I got a big rear tire cut after just a month of use with these 4-season tires. I've ridden a lot worse with alligator skins year after year with no problems. Even by the feel of the 4-season rubber, you can tell it's much softer and absorbs…

Tire exploded with normal use

I received this tire less than 2 weeks ago. I rode it a total of 32 miles commuting to and from work on paved roads and bike lanes. Got this Continental Grand Prix 4 season set and new Conti hoses to replace a very old set of tires that eventually gave up. I have mild OCD so I carefully check my tire pressure every morning before hitting the road and keep it at 110psi. I even checked my pressure gauge with a manual pressure gauge to make sure I was holding the correct tire pressure. Leaving…
