Quiet as advertised. Cheap and

Replaced a noisy fan in my SFF HTPC. This fan has more blades than a regular fan and lower amperage than the one I replaced. I believe the manufacturer spins the fan slower with more blades so the air moves quieter. It's pretty quiet. I am happy. When I first installed it I misrouted the wires and the label on the wires went into the blades making a lot of buzzing noise. I fixed the issue and once installed correctly, enjoyed nice quiet performance. I would say if you want a quiet 80mm fan this

4 year review of computer components

Bought a pair of these in 2017 to use as secondary exhausts in my Corsair Air 240 case. Firstly they are not "quiet". However, they are reasonably quiet and do the job of removing air from the case. However, the quiet hum of this pair of 80mm fans effectively dampens any noise from the 3 pre-installed Corsair 120mm fans, meaning the stock Corsair fans will continue to run silently for over 4 years of continuous use. food for thought. Fast forward to 2021, one of the two has entered end of life…

Great value for money, suitable for computers and accessories

I couldn't find a better deal. These fans are great mid-range fans. Since these are sleeve bearing fans, they MUST be used vertically. If you use them horizontally, they get very noisy and fail within a few months. (This is NOT a Cooler Master design flaw, it's just how the bearings work!) I had to replace 3 fans on my PC heatsink and they fit the bill and work better than the ones that came with my EKWB EK-CoolStream XE 360 were delivered. (Triple) liquid cooler! They are 3 pin MB style…

I would buy these again without question

The fans came in a box big enough for all four fans, 12 screws and warranty information. There are no instructions unless you rely on them. I bought these fans for my Cooler Master HAF 912 case. The case had 2 standard fans (exactly the same as this one) and I had the option to install 4 additional 120mm fans so this product worked great. Few motherboards can support all of these fans, so I highly recommend, as I do, buying some fan splitters. Revain has a few for sale that I bought and they…

For money, absolutely.

1200 reviews can't be wrong, right? As for the fans, I'm a fan! Do you see what I did there? Hm. Still, it's important to note that these are 3-pin and not 4-pin connections. What does that mean for you? Well, that basically means you can't control the fan speed, but for most of us that's not necessary. And the connectors on the motherboard that accept a 4-pin connector will easily accept a 3-pin connector, so don't worry about which one you have if you don't need to control fan speed. I…

Very quiet; Great slim fan

Review by: Cooler Master 80mm Sleeve Bearing Fan for Computer Cases and CPU Coolers Like almost all Dell computers, my old Dell T1600 PLEX file server has terrible cooling. Hard drives are bottom-to-front and don't have moving airflow to cool them, so they get hot, especially in the summer months. Nearly perfect for under-the-front-panel mounting, this fan has helped bring HDD temperatures down from 150°F to <110°F while beating PLEX as measured by Speedfan and Open Hardware Monitor. That's…
