I bought this switch for my lawnmower's auxiliary light. The switch itself seems to work fine, but no matter what I do I can't get the waterproof case to stay on the switch. The cover simply presses onto the edge of the switch mounting ring. It looks like the lip just isn't enough to keep the guard on the switch. If the cover is missing, the switch itself is not waterproof.

Lasted 4 years with regular use so I bought another

I bought 3 of these a few years ago to power the LEDs on my commuter bike and although used daily in all weathers they run they still great. So I just bought four more to drive the LEDs on my Versys 650. You look almost normal! For those having assembly problems, please note that you need to drill a hole to install the ring at the base of the thread. This allows the button to sit flush with the surface. For my bike I just tied buttons to the stem and it has worked great so far.

Not what I expected, I don't recommend it.

They look cheap but the price and quality don't match. I tried installing the rubber boot but it wouldn't stay in place. I tried installing the cuff through the mounting hole and it just broke, very cheap rubber. I bought two switches and both had the same problem, about $7 each - not exactly a cheap component. I mounted them without boots as I needed them immediately, I don't expect them to last long because the first rain will penetrate them. Very disappointed. I will update my review if…

Nice button, very easy installation, seems very waterproof.

Good packaging and very easy installation. The first impression is quite good quality, comfortable rubber case, firm button. It was very easy and nice to install on my bike with only 3/8 hole drilled. Really as easy as installing it. I noticed that the plastic ring at the bottom of the rubber case that has threads to screw the case onto the knob only has 1 thread. It would be nice if it had more thread than once around the ring as there is a lot of thread on the side of the button. The rubber…

Here's what I know about this tiny push button switch

I have this tiny push button switch to turn on one of the LED fog lights on my motorcycle. They have 3 modes (high, low, blinking ) Then they change mode by toggling on/off/on and sometimes they lose sync when I turn them on so I have to turn on a light to get back in sync. Works great, it has a nice rubber switch button cap to make it waterproof. I've washed too many times and ridden in the rain and never had a problem with it. Didn't drill a hole to install it (there's no room on my bike for…
