I bought one of these first and now all the sizes available. They are excellent for use in low light and/or with dark yarns. They don't really help anyone in subtle light with light yarn, but that's not what they're made for. What I immediately noticed is that the "business end" is a bit short. I like these hooks because they are very comfortable. However, as I read somewhere in another review, not all are true to size. I bought the whole set, sizes C through K. I tested them with my Susan Bates "Knit-Chek" which has holes you can put a hook or needle in to measure. C and D fit true to size, but the letters E through K are all actually one size larger than they are marked, meaning they measure from F through L.
