Worked but had trouble installing. I had to wiggle the cords and wires and push them in with all my might to get them to work properly. At first I thought I bought a bad power station or motherboard, but you just need to fiddle with the cables/settings to get it working properly. You have to push really hard to get the power supply cords all the way in. It took 8 hours of troubleshooting and fiddling to find out that my cords weren't all the way connected. I was about to send it back but read a

Block blown after 1 day of use. So why 4/5?

So I ordered this PSU for my new Ryzen 3900x, GTX 2080ti, x570 Auros, Tt Level 20 GT Build. I did my best for it and picked it up at the end of July. After about a day of use, this power supply blew out. It crackled loudly in the middle of idle when I was playing with my dog. I think the best way to describe the smell is that of a burning skunk. I turned off the surge protector and carefully ran to the fire extinguisher. The block really exploded. I don't know exactly what happened, but I had a

Arriving at Computers and Accessories

Connected. Motherboard did not turn on. And yes. I made sure to use the cables that came with it. I have extensive experience building computers. This power supply just wouldn't turn on. I've had a lot of bad experiences with Corsair products, but I thought. "Hey. I'll give you one more chance". "No. Never again. Sorry Corsair but I'm not a customer anymore. You should read my Corsair k95 review. Wow. FOUR times RMA for defective keyboards and the last one broke in less than a year. Actually…

What a beast are the best computer components

This thing is awesome. While powering my Ryzen 5 3600, RTX 2070 (hopefully soon 3080) at x570 gigabytes. I like the 0RPM mode, it increases the lifespan of the fan, which is usually the first thing in the computer to go off (or at least get louder). Install it on a single rail as I am concerned that the 3080 may knock out the 40 amp maximum safety on the PCI Express rails even if there is no electrical problem. I'm not an electrical expert, but I've heard that. So single rail. Replaced my…

Very good PSU

This is the first PSU I have bought but the third I have built a PC with. In the last month I have built 2 PCs for my nephews and now I am working alone. I didn't turn it on when I wrote this, but the other two work fine. Very quiet, you don't hear or hear it's on. When determining the required power, 750-850 watts were chosen, but in the case of future upgrades and the unwillingness to tax the power supply unit, a value of 1000 watts was used. Seems to work very well on 2 working PCs

Excellent customer service

I recently bought this power supply, I've already finished assembling the computer but found the computer won't boot up, no mobile displays, no sound, nothing. Concerned I took it to the nearest computer shop and had them check my build, they diagnosed it as a faulty PSU, I wasn't sure but I ended up ordering a Corsair Hx1000. The next day I found that my power adapter had a connector that was loosened and tightened, my computer booted up, everything was fine. I quickly canceled my order…

For my first pc build and it's perfect and quiet

This item was hard to find due to covid and the pc build being a difficult time to build. Got this for a gaming/streaming build I wanted to do and was finally able to put together my first gaming PC this month. I've been using it for 7 days now, everything is fine. 100% silent, I haven't changed the default mode or anything like that. Apart from the three RGB fans built into the case, I don't hear anything in my PC, but to be honest they aren't that loud either. With this power supply I was…

  • poorly thought out

Yes, there are power packs with a power of more than 1000 watts. For most, this 1000W power supply from Corsair will adequately handle most needs with plenty of headroom. I wanted to build a gaming PC that is the best in my group to use on my main system. I wanted to use this powerful 1000 watt Corsiar PSU with my 85" Sony TV. I also wanted this computer to have plenty of power left over when I wanted to add video related devices that could be played on my big screen. I wanted this computer to…

Powerful and quiet on computer components

I was skeptical at first after reading the reviews. If you read reviews of power supplies you will find that they all have some glitches where they blow your components, of course people complain about that. I took precautions anyway and hooked it up to the old system for a few days of heavy usage. Everything was very stable and clean. The voltage doesn't jump around like the cheaper power supplies I buy. Now I installed it on my new computer with higher quality components. The GPU and CPU seem
