Type of review

At first glance, a quality unit. Neatly assembled, no warps, notches, etc. The main power cables are well braided. There is an adapter for FDD (some internal USB hubs are powered by it). Two additional power lines for the 4+4 processor, each connector is detachable. Such power is extremely important for 9th generation Intels, even without overclocking (gluttonous devils!). There was a fear that due to the relatively small fan it would make noise, but no, the unit is really quiet. I hope there…

Pros
  • Processor power (4+4)+(4+4). Cable management. Quiet. Compact.
Cons
  • Haven't found it yet.

I read reviews on various tech. sites before buying. Bought for 8000. I think that a good power supply is normal and you should not save on what powers the entire system. Got it in white. For some reason, we don’t have white on sale and we had to order from Germany. Completely satisfied with the block. It's been 6 months and so far so good.

Pros
  • Powerful, quiet, beautiful + all kinds of protection. The bundle is rich, the wires have everything you need (2 x 8 Pin for powering the processor) + everything is braided basic. 10 year manufacturer's warranty. There is no squeak of chokes and noise from the fan, and up to 40% it is generally silent.
Cons
  • Expensive

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

Everything is fine, I will not evaluate the appearance, because All the same, after installation in the system unit, it is not visible. Has some pros: Quiet, large set of cables, for everything you need, a bag for extra (not used) cables, easy to install. Its cons: Perhaps only the price, but it works without any complaints, accordingly I paid for the quality (which I am satisfied with).

Expectations were not met, average quality.

I came across a marriage, after the 1st start, the block shorted out and now it goes into protection and does not turn on + a burnout appeared on the mother near the 24pin socket. In general, he also carried his mother with him.

For unpleasant moments, except that the cables, for example, in order to feed the processor into a special hole in the case, had to remove the top cover (case) - this was not the case on the old PSU, but the quality of the cables, to be fair, is incomparable. Otherwise, cable management turned out to be much simpler than some reviews say. The main high of this PSU is silence, complete. 350W load does not turn on the cooler, my old PSU (fsp epsilon 600 80+) only gave out 420 on the +12 line and…

Pros
  • -silence - Abundance of cables for all occasions -10 years warranty, in case of a breakdown of the scanned check and a letter to the corsair - the issue will be resolved
Cons
  • see comments

I used to take Seasonic, Platinum, with the calculation of "Premium". It turned out to be terrible, in terms of fan and hybrid cooling mode. In Hybrid mode, it made a hum, sinned on the video card, even turned to the manufacturer, but what was my surprise when I found out that it was Seasonic that was buzzing (under load). Okay, it was possible to turn off the hybrid mode, I used it like that, but after 7 months, the fan began to rumble :)) Then I freaked out and handed over the guarantee, the…

Pros
  • Quiet Cooling System, Quality, Price
Cons
  • Rigid wires, do not bend, hard to stick into the connectors (stick out)

Absolutely worth the price

My old PSU sounds like a tractor under full load so I need a quiet PSU and this one is absolutely silent. The quality looks good and it's easy to install. A few cons: 1. It smells funny, the fan blows air with a plastic smell. It takes several days to disappear.2. The screws are kinda difficult to assemble, but only at the first time.3. If you buy this power supply because of its low noise level, you get what you paid for, but you will find that there are other noisy parts in your computer…

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Absolutely normal. Not perfect.

Good power supply. Is working. Calm. There are no particular problems with the installation. I only gave it 3 stars for two reasons.1. NO 8-6 + 2 individual PCIe cables. It only comes with DUAL PCIe 8 to 6+2 cables, so I have two unused 6+2 connectors sticking out from under my graphics card.2. The cables do not bend much at the ends. There is a (perhaps too) large piece of shrink tubing at the ends of the cables, making them difficult to handle. Rather than flexing under the GPU, they stick…

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Discontinued model

2 years in IT tanned! But don't blame the PSU entirely

As usual, I came home from work and turned on the PC assembled in September 2018. To date there have been no problems. I could smell that burning plastic smell - just a whiff - so I turned it off, immediately pulled it off the wall and appreciated it. Nothing seemed strange. The smell is gone. Nothing seemed to melt or burn. I carefully turned the computer back on and the power supply ignited the cable attached to it and made this sharp noise, similar to an electrical conductor. I pulled the…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No power

DO NOT BUY FROM COSAIR!

Yes, I bought this power supply for my PC. I spent over 4-5 hours installing it and arranging the cable management on the back. After all this time I was proud of my work. I put everything back together, turned on the computer and NOTHING. Unfortunately, my computer would not turn on. i was so confused I opened the back panel again to check the cables and everything, I was sure everything was connected as it should. I checked again to make sure everything is connected correctly. Tried to…

DOA - no Revain or Corsair support

I was assembling my current computer ie ordering components, installing MOBO etc. I had a problem and correctly determined that the problem was a disabled power supply. I ordered it and it was here at 8am the next day and it was great! Installed, started and nothing. Another dead box. Assuming I had a good part shipped to me, I gave up and took my box to a computer repair shop. When troubleshooting, they plugged it into an available power source and it immediately caught fire. That means they…

  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Still snorts.

I like this power supply; He only pooped for about 4 years. I've never had a single problem with this power supply; It powers everything I've ever installed on my computer flawlessly and probably has a lot more power than I could use. Any negative feedback is just a "BP lottery" where users received bad blocks. I feel sorry for you, especially those whose PCs burned down due to a faulty device; But even if I had problems, I still wouldn't curse Corsair and say something like "Don't buy from…

This PSU blew my CPU

The item arrived with damaged packaging and I started examining the PSU and noticed a suspicious odor emanating from the PSU. I decided to test the PSU on my rig and noticed smoke coming out of my 570x crystal case and immediately unplugged everything. I noticed that one of the sp120's fan wires was completely burned from top to bottom and the fan controller smelled like burnt plastic. I waited a day for the smoke smell to completely clear my room and the PSU still smelled like burnt oil, but…
