Not military grade, but acceptable

The belt arrived quickly and in good condition, but it's not as strong as I would like it to be (non-military). The shiny belt buckle was well protected from scratches by a thin sheet of plastic. I have an acceptable usage time.

Pros
  • AS GOOD AS THE ORIGINAL VERSION - USED TO SUPPORT TROUSERS
Cons
  • These straps are cheap and the sliders don't hold up at all. Spend a few more dollars and buy a better product.

Acceptable but disappointing

Neat belt, but the chrome buckle starts to rust after a short time. Because of this, I got rid of my old one, thinking it would shine longer. But no.

Pros
  • Good quality webbing
Cons
  • I wanted a more tactical type of belt.

It's too early to give my opinion

It appears to be an adequate belt with a very cheap buckle. Since I threw away the buckle and used my old USMC split buckle, it didn't matter. It remains to find out if the tape is strong and durable. So far, so good.

Pros
  • All
Cons
  • I bought a pair of nylon, they work great....

I think there are 4 parts to this thing in total: a belt, a pulley, a buckle and a small clip that holds it to the buckle, overall it's pretty good and stays put for a while. You can simply cut off the tail and fasten it again with your teeth. Will not come loose if new looks good. Years ago, tossed in the pantry, used by a group of military researchers for many years, then used by me for many years, so it will last a long time

  • Good

The buckle keeps slipping

The buckle keeps slipping. I've bought several of these webbing belts with military style buckles and they all don't close well and then fall off after some time of wearing.

Pros
  • I bought this in 2014. It's just as good as the day I bought it. It's 2020 now. Made a deal as I understand it. buy others.
Cons
  • The lack of a brand name or logo on a belt can make it look generic and unremarkable, which can put buyers off a purchase.

Excellent lightweight and durable belt

I needed a good, secure belt to wear with shorts for hiking and training. This one is up to the task, very light but strong and reliable, holds up my pants!

Pros
  • Got what was described. Came earlier than expected.
Cons
  • The Military Web Belt may not hold up well to heavy use as the cotton material wears and tears over time.

Not military grade but acceptable

Belt arrived quickly and in good condition but not as strong as I would like (not military grade). The shiny belt buckle was well protected from scratches by a thin sheet of plastic. The design is classic and I believe it will give me a reasonable amount of use.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • old

Military Grade

I served on active duty in the Marine Corps from 1995 to 2003 so I know what this belt compares to. I can say that this belt is no worse than our army web belts. Simply cut (can get very long), melt the frayed edge with a lighter, snap on buckle and fasten. I haven't had a single issue with the quality of the buckle's grip; The teeth hold the end perfectly without the brass tip and I haven't had to adjust anything since I've had it. I did some research before making this purchase and would…

Economical buckle with shiny gold finish, aged brass metal buckle end.

I need a white belt for my white uniform. I ordered this white web belt after looking at several other belts. The common weak point with these belts is the buckle. The belt buckle is made in Taiwan and just not impressive. The fabric strap is thinner than any other fabric strap I've had. Yes, I would have preferred a thicker webbing and structurally stronger buckle. This belt and buckle are lightweight and relatively inexpensive. I cut and used the mesh with standard scissors. So far, so good…

Excellent strap very easy to put on

Given the price I paid I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this strap. While it's clearly not up to military standards and unfortunately not made in the USA, I'm happy with the quality. The length has become too long, but you can easily remove the belt buckle and cut off the excess length from the nylon. - This allows the crimped metal end to remain intact. I'm hoping to have an opportunity to shorten it even more in the near future - assuming I lose the weight I want. The belt wears…

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

A suitable replacement for the 1971 Army version.

I only needed a cotton webbing belt, not the brass buckle provided. At the moment, the buttonhole shape and openwork belts are too tight and uncomfortable for me; Although my 1971 army uniform no longer fit me because I was getting fat, I kept this simple black field style open buckle that only required a jean belt for a custom fit. I've tried using a hemp weave belt before, but as others have pointed out, the hemp material is too flimsy and slips through military buckles. I also used a cotton…

100% simplicity and durability

After two years of my leather belt slowly falling apart, I was ready for a change. fleshy. You looked as if you were wearing half a cow around your waist. Then I decided to try the cloth belts that the military use. I assumed that if they use them they must be strong and reliable. By this point a lengthy search and verification process had been undertaken. I looked for both high and low but found that due to their basic design only the buckle could have issues. I decided to take a chance…
