Collar without laces, light but strong

I have been using martingale collars in the form of a chain for many years. This is the first fabric martingale collar I have used on my dogs. I have bought 2, a medium 1" and a larger size with a wider bulldog collar. I like that they are much lighter on both dogs than their standard leather or even cloth collars. I like their performance so far. Thanks for the strong ones , yet flexible and lightweight collars.

Pros
  • Little competition
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Attention, there is no buckle or clip!

Please note it does not have a buckle closure as described. This collar needs to be placed on the head and then adjusted. So I decided I would try it on my pup. She and our other dog were playing and the collar got wrapped around his lower jaw causing the puppy to choke. It's fine after we struggled to get it off and when I ran to get the scissors my husband somehow got it off my lower jaw. So we learned a big lesson here. We will always insist on closing the clip so we can quickly release it…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

I liked the blue plus, I don't think the dog cares.

Although my daughter said it was more of a male colour, I bought this for my female dog, I love the blue colour, plus I don't think the dog cares what color it is. I love that it doesn't have a quick release buckle, I know some people want that, but I'm dealing with a very powerful pit bull so I don't want to risk the quick release buckle opening and my dog running away from me. This is a very durable collar that is well made. I also love the fact that it's made in the USA. It was easy to…

Very pretty on my pitty!

This is my favorite brand of collar for my 60 lb Pitty girl. I've bought a few and don't think I've ever written a review so let's get started: they're very durable, have great build quality, quality hardware and come in all sorts of fun colors. These collars are smooth rather than textured ribbed nylon like their solid color collars. I think this is my new favorite and it looks so cute on her! The fabric is fantastic. Feels and looks like satin which seems very comfortable for my girl. She's…

There is the best quality!

Top quality! I got this for my 20 lb Pyrenees and have used them so far, 6 months and 80+ lbs. It'll probably fit him for another week or so and be able to slide it over his head, but it's going to be tight so I ordered a large one. The design is beautiful, the quality is fantastic and the price can't be beat! Would recommend and REALLY recommend to all my friends. I would however suggest buying a leash and collar set to save a few bucks and the quality of both can't be beat, my dogs love it…

Good quality Great fit

This collar is a great price, is made with good materials and looks like it will be very comfortable to wear. The wide 1 1/2 inch strap comes in handy when walking the dog because if I have to tug on the leash to get her attention, the force is best distributed, reducing the chance of discomfort or injury. However, it's a bit wider than I thought it would be and looks way too prominent on the dog's neck. I like looking at the collar, but I prefer not to notice it more than the dog. My dog is 60

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

So cute - great quality

SOOO cute! I ordered a pink martingale with a paisley pattern. I was hesitant to order this just because of that mustard yellow color - I was completely blown away. But I ordered anyway as I used to buy from Country Brook and was happy with the previous collars. I was pleased to see that the yellow didn't stand out at all. There are few patches of this color and they are a little more muted. This is my third Country Brook collar. The first two (different color/style) were well made and very…

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

The perfect collar for a Basset Hound to avoid a protruding neck

Martingale collars are normally thought of as training collars but they have proven to be the best collars for our Basset Hound. She doesn't like halters very much and her head really isn't wider than her neck, making it difficult to wear a regular collar while walking. In addition, loose skin on the neck with a regular collar, balloons over a collar with an extremely puffy top is very unattractive, distorts its appearance and looks very uncomfortable. These martingale collars solve both of…

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Minor issues

I like the thicker combat design, but if you really need to restrain your dog from time to time I recommend you skip this one. This is not our only collar. We use that from time to time. My 60 lb coonhound pulls a little when walking but other collars don't help. She will occasionally lash out when provoked by a larger dog, but this doesn't happen often. The collar will fail in less than 90 days with occasional use. Return/Refund requested by seller. You don't answer. Now I have to claim…
