Holds up but needs a chiropractor after each install

This product would have received 5+ stars from me if the design had been better thought out. Excellent hold. after training for Cirque Du Soleil for an hour - in full crookedness. 2 things would make this a dream product, not a nightmare. 1. Mount the corner plate about 1" closer to the outside of the truck to allow the camper stands to stand freely when the camper is mounted on the truck. 2. By turning the screws (and no, I couldn't do this adjustment myself due to the design) on the clamp…

worth your money.

Very strong and very easy to put on and take off. After I installed them and attached them to the van, they didn't move at all! I'm a professional trucker and don't want to have anything permanently installed as I don't tow RVs all the time. They did a great job getting the job done on a 1,500 mile trip through the Rocky Mountains. I highly recommend this to everyone! The only criticism is that the neoprene pads are already worn out after 1 use. It would be nice if there were 4 dozen pads in…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

For anyone complaining that the screw holes are too close to center or that they are poorly designed; READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND SEE THE PHOTO. Square screw heads are here for a reason. When you insert them correctly you will find that they fit snugly against the center of the assembly meaning you don't need a second wrench when tightening the nuts. It works perfectly! The real trick is positioning the brackets on the truck and this is unique to each RV/truck configuration. It might be easier if

durable but poor design

They are made of high quality steel. But the design is very bad. They claim these are the correct mounts for 15 GMC 2500's. Well they "fit" but a lot of problems. They make screws that need to be tightened from behind. This is very inconvenient as there is almost no space, so the work takes much longer (use a ratchet or you will go crazy). Once installed and properly tightened, if you lift the outer end of the bracket (where your RV's anchors attach) you can watch the inside of your bed and bed

These things are HEAVY - they weigh over 20 pounds. The postman didn't pick it up from the truck, just left a note telling me to come to the post office to pick it up myself. They seem to be fine. I do have one small complaint - the hole for attaching the turnbuckle is a little off center on all of them. I don't think that's the design intent, but it doesn't seem to weaken it. It's just annoying that a product made in the USA should have such a defect. Well, I also have an AMC Jeep, so I think…

Seems like a solid product but make sure they work for you.

Purchased in preparation for the purchase of a 2nd Gen Ram2500 RV Slide. I didn't know which one I would take and figured I would need Anker Anker to bring it home. Part 1 - Product: Product wise they are very powerful and as long as the direction of thrust is basically "up". Without too much angle I'd say they would be great although I'm not sure of the load limits. No Drilling Good! As others have pointed out, not having full rear access will be frustrating. I had to cut holes in the plastic…
